This 2-year postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Professor Beatriz Rico is funded by the European Commission (AIMS-2), and will investigate the inhibitory/excitatory unbalance in the context of autism models.

The Centre for Developmental Neurobiology and MRC Centre for Neurodevelopmental Disorders are world-leading centres in the field of developmental neuroscience and brain disorders, situated in central London.

We are seeking a bright, talented and self-motivated post-doctoral researcher to join our team.

Candidates should have, or be about to obtain, a PhD in Neuroscience and have strong experience experience with in vivo electrophysiology and/or calcium imaging in vivo analysis. Experience with optogenetics, viral tracing of neural circuits, cortical electrophysiology.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 24 months.

This is a full-time post, 35 hours per week
