An enthusiastic Research Technician is required for BBSRC funded study of neuronal development in the zebrafish visual system.

The project will make extensive use of in vivo and ultrastructural imaging in wild-type and mutant zebrafish. Would suit well-organised team player keen to collaborate with and provide high-quality technical assistance to other members of our research team.

A strong background in molecular biology is desirable and a genuine interest and knowledge of neuroscience, imaging techniques, and zebrafish would be helpful. The candidate will have a strong BSc or MSc and experience of working in a research laboratory.

Independence, motivation, good organisational skills and a willingness to work as part of a team are essential. The candidate will benefit from state-of-the-art research facilities and the intellectual environment and interactive culture of the Centre for Developmental Neurobiology.
