The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6. The salary range will be £28,574 - £33,487 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and well-motivated graduate Research Technician to work within the Neuronal Computation Group at the Wolfson Institute for Biomedical Research, UCL to support projects focussing on examining the relationship between neural circuits and behaviour. The research technician will carry out behavioural training, surgical procedures and in vivo electrophysiology experiments and data analysis. http://www.dendrites.org/ for more details.
Vacancy is available for 12 months in the first instance.
Applicant should have a MSc degree in neuroscience and hands on experience in behavioural neuroscience. Expertise in surgical procedures relevant to the project, some knowledge of electronics and experience with in vivo electrophysiology and data analysis are essential.
