About the Role

The Senior Lecturer will contribute to the intellectual life of the Institute and wider institution and the research field of neuroscience. They will lead a competitive research programme and supervise junior researchers. They will make contributions to student education and experience through curriculum development and the delivery of teaching activities in the subject area of neuroscience, at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

About You

The successful candidate will have a PhD in neuroscience, and/or relevant professional qualification and/or equivalent professional experience. They will have a proven track-record of high-quality research in the field of neuroscience at a national and international level, including publications in renowned journals.

About the School/Department/Institute/Project

The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL. The Institute comprises approximately 350 staff based in four academic Centres and one Public Engagement Centre, and supports a combined total of around 750 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.
