BRACE Dementia Research is looking for two new Trustees with expertise in neuroscience.
BRACE funds laboratory and clinical research into dementia, based in universities in SW England and S Wales. Since it was founded 33 years ago, the charity has helped achieve important progress in the understanding of dementia.
Because of impending retirements and the planned growth of the charity’s work, its Trustees are seeking to add expertise at Board level to help guide research strategy, advise on grant awards and aid the communication of dementia science to the public.
This is a voluntary role and does not involve responsibility for day to day management.
BRACE is based at Southmead Hospital in Bristol, but meetings will be by Zoom or held as hybrid events.
