Genes, Brain, and Behavior Meeting 2021

External Event - 10th to 15th May 2021

The 22nd Annual Genes, Brain & Behavior Meeting will be held May 10th-15th, 2021. The meeting will be a virtual event using a state of the art platform. The meeting will include exciting scientific lectures, research presentations, workshops, and opportunities to share your work with your fellow scientists and mentors as well as networking opportunities. The abstract submission deadline is March 30th, 2021.

The conference will have the following sessions:

  • Alternate transcript usage and RNA splicing in alcohol and substance use disorders. Chair: Amy Lasek, University of Chicago 
  • Sleep regulation and function during early developmental periods. Chair: Matthew Kayser, University of Pennsylvania
  • Neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome in mice and humans. Chair: Camron Bryant, Boston University School of Medicine
  • Neurodegenerative and Neuropsychiatric disorders. Chair: Peter Ash, Boston University School of Medicine
  • Emergent systems for genetic studies of behavior. Chairs: Yehuda Ben-Shahar, Washington University. Alex Keene, Florida Atlantic University
