Processing and Modulation of Sensory Signals: From the Periphery to the Cortex

This is a joint meeting of The Physiological Society and the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre.

This meeting is designed to help foster new connections and cross-pollinate ideas between researchers studying sensory systems in different modalities and at different levels from peripheral transduction to cortical integration.

This two day event showcases a range of talks with the underlying themes of peripheral and brainstem processing; thalamic and cortical processing; sensation, location and action; and modulation of the senses.
