£2 million funding for Mental Health Research

1st Nov 2016

Over three days in March 2017, MQ will be hosting a workshop to bring together multi-disciplinary researchers, to work in teams to develop and pitch big ideas that will transform young people's mental health.

Up to £2 million will be available to support the winning project through three-years consortium funding.

The aim of the workshop is to generate proposals in these areas:

  • Identify key research challenges and create innovative interdisciplinary ways to approach them
  • Advance our understanding of how mental illness develops
  • Translate these findings to identifying those at greatest risk

Applicants can be those working within mental health science, as well as those from outside the field.

Applications close on 20th December 2016.
