The Medical Research Council (MRC) has launched a grant for researchers in neuroimmunology. This call aims to provide funds to studies which examine the role played by inflammatory and immune processes in neurological conditions and mental illness. This funding call is specifically for early career researchers and must demonstrate a multidisciplinary team including at least one researcher with expertise in neuroscience/mental health and one researcher with expertise in immunology. These awards are for up to £200,000 to support projects up to a maximum duration of 24 months and researchers should aim to start in Spring 2021.
