BBC examines the use of non-human primates in research

Newcastle and Oxford Universities gave BBC access to their primate facilities for a feature that was aired on BBC Radio 4 on 18th October. 

The segment involved experimental procedures as well as interviews with scientists, welfare staff and Cruelty Free International (CFI). Colin Blackmore (BNA Patron and Past-President) featured in a live interview discussing the rationale for the use of non-human primates, how this research is regulated and the CFI's calls for this research to be ended.
