Special Collection on Emerging Experimental Methodologies in Translational Neuroscience

Brain and Neuroscience Advances, the official journal of the BNA, is publishing a Special Collection on Emerging Experimental Methodologies in Translational Neuroscience.

This Special Collection focuses on contemporary experimental approaches to research for Central Nervous System (CNS) diseases, with an emphasis on translation from preclinical to clinical settings brought by experts in both academia and industry.

Dr Janet Nicholson, Director CNS Diseases Research at Boehringer Ingelheim, and Professor Jeffrey Dalley, Professor of Behavioural Neuroscience at Cambridge University, will be co-editors for the collection.

The deadline for submitting papers to be considered for this collection is 20th of February 2018.

This Special Collection brings together experts in academia and industry to discuss contemporary experimental approaches to research for CNS Diseases, with an emphasis on translation from preclinical to clinical settings, with contributors from a range of countries across Europe and the rest of the world. This unique collection of articles culminates from the 3rd Annual Neuroscience Research and Development Technologies conference which was held in London 28th-29th September, and will be coordinated by Dr Janet Nicholson, Director CNS Diseases Research at Boehringer Ingelheim, and Professor Jeffrey Dalley, Professor of Behavioural Neuroscience at Cambridge University.

As well as a selection of invited contributors we warmly welcome primary research articles, reviews and commentaries on the development and application of experimental approaches in preclinical/clinical neuroscience research.
