Special Collection on Neuroimmunology and Brain Disorders: Call for Papers

Brain and Neuroscience Advances HeaderWe are at an exciting moment for the integration of neuroscience and immunology. Research has revealed a key involvement of the immune system in health and disease. The BNA’s official journal ‘Brain and Neuroscience Advances’ will therefore feature a Special Collection on Neuroimmunology and Brain Disorders. This special issue will cover this emerging field spanning topics from molecular to clinical and imaging studies.

Potential topics include but are not limited to:

  • Immune system and brain development
  • Early immune activation and risk for brain disease
  • Immune system and plasticity
  • Roles of microglia and the complement system in aging and disease
  • Clinical and imaging studies of neuroimmune status

The deadline for submissions is 30 April 2019.
