A computer programme has ranked the most influential brain scientists of the modern era.
The programme, called Semantic Scholar, has now parsed the content of 2.5 million neuroscience articles, mapped all the citations between them, and calculated a score of each author's influence on the rest.
Researchers from the UK appear four times out of the top ten results, and very impressively taking the top two ranking positions. Three of these researchers work at UCL and the fouth at University of Cambridge.
