Annette Dolphin announced as new President Elect of the BNA

The BNA is delighted to announce that Professor Annette Dolphin has taken up the position of President Elect of the BNA. 

Annette studied Biochemistry at Oxford University before embarking on a PhD at Institute of Psychiatry in London, where she first became interested in Neuropharmacology.  She then undertook postdoctoral studies in Paris, Yale, and National Institute for Medical Research, Mill Hill, and is currently Professor of Pharmacology in the Department of Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology at UCL. Her research seeks to understand the function of neuronal voltage-gated calcium channels, and the mechanism of action of drugs that target these channels.
