New expert-led consensus to shape the future of MND drug discovery and development research

"The BNA has been a huge support to me throughout my PhD."
"Support from BNA travel grants has enabled me to attend and present my research at both local and international conferences. Attending events such as the BNA Festival of Neuroscience has greatly expanded my network across the UK and worldwide, and has allowed me to present my PhD work to world-leading academics. And, now that I am finishing my PhD, the curated list of jobs on the BNA's website has been extremely useful in guiding me towards neuroscience research opportunities."
Examples of ways that BNA membership can grow your enjoyment of neuroscience and develop your career:

Proof of student/trainee status, valid for up to four years, will be required in order to prove eligibility. This can be a photo, pdf or other document of, for example, your student ID card, proof of enrollment, or a headed letter from your institution. You will be asked to upload this during the online application procedure. Don't worry if you haven't got this to hand! - you can still submit an application form, and then send proof of student status to us afterwards.
Postgraduate members may be able to benefit from the research group member scheme, which allows Full Members to give up to nine members of their research team reduced-fee subscriptions with the BNA, giving them extended access to bursaries, reduced meeting fees, membership of FENS, and more. Ask your group leader if they are a member of the BNA, and if you can get your membership for a reduced fee!
Our core membership benefits for postgraduate membership are listed below.
Alongside our core benefits, we also offer a range of special member incentives such as competitions, prize draws and discounts throughout the year - please look out for these notifications in the member eBulletin and via our social media channels!
