I am delighted that the Liverpool Neuroscience Group’s Bring Your Own Brain team have been awarded the BNA Public Engagement Prize 2025. The team put time, effort, and passion into delivering an engaging, entertaining, and inclusive public programme in the lead up to BNA2025, we had a lot of fun doing it and it is wonderful to be recognised with this prize. - Dr Susannah Walker
I am thrilled to receive the BNA Public Engagement Award 2024. The prize highlights the importance of connecting neuroscience with society, and the recognition celebrates not just my efforts but the incredible teams and communities I’ve had the privilege to work with. I hope I can inspire others in neuroscience to see public engagement as a vital part of their work, ensuring that science is open and inclusive to all.
This award aims to recognise those that make an outstanding contribution to engaging the public in Neuroscience.
Nominations should make a case for why the nominee should be recognised for their work, in any capacity, in the field of public engagement in neuroscience.
