BNA FENS Forum Bursaries
The British Neuroscience Association is offering bursaries of up to £200 to support members with caring responsibilities, enabling them to attend neuroscience-related events (in-person or online).
Purpose
To help cover non-registration expenses for attendance at the 2026 FENS Forum, for first authors of submitted poster abstracts.
What the bursary can cover
- Travel
- Accommodation
- Sustenance
- Other reasonable costs, e.g. visa application fees
Eligibility
- Must be a current BNA member correctly in the Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Career Starter or Early Career Researcher grade
- Must have been a BNA member for at least the last 6 months (i.e. since at least 13th October 2025) or your application must be supported by a Professional BNA member
- Must have already registered to attend the 2026 FENS Forum
- Must have submitted an abstract – as first author – for a poster presentation at the 2026 FENS Forum
- Must not have previously received a BNA bursary for attending a FENS Forum
We will favour bursary applications where efforts have been made to reduce the carbon impact of the trip.
