Registration Fees

We are committed to keeping registration fees accessible and affordable for neuroscientists at every stage of their career, from those entering the field to those helping shape its future. 

If you are not yet a BNA member please consider joining to make significant savings, in addition to a wealth of other year-round benefits. 

Members/associates of any partner organisation also benefit from the reduced member fee rates - the same as BNA members. Please contact your partner organisation representative to obtain your unique discount code.  

What does the ticket include? 

As well as full access to all the sessions in the scientic programme including symposia, workshops, plenary sessions, silent symposia and the career zone activities, tea coffee and refreshments for each day are also included. 

Lunch is not included, but there are plenty of options to purchase lunch at the ICC, or you can purchase a lunch voucher during registration. 

Your £14 per day lunch voucher gives you a choice of hot or cold food from the catering outlets located within the exhibition space.

Choose a hot meal, served with fruit and a drink, or a cold option, accompanied by crisps, a sweet treat, fruit and a drink. Full menus will be shared closer to the event.

ICC Belfast prides itself on offering delicious, sustainably sourced food, with a focus on local produce, so there’ll be plenty to choose from.

We’ve allowed plenty of time during the lunch break for you to enjoy your food and explore the exhibition. We recommend heading to the catering stations early though, to give yourself the best chance of getting your first-choice dish.

Low and Middle Income Countries (LMIC) fees

We are delighted to welcome neuroscience colleagues from around the world to visit us in the UK. To increase accessibility for neuroscientists in Low and Middle-Income countries (LMIC), we offer a reduction on the standard registration fees. 

To be eligible for LMIC fee rates, you must be based (working or studying at an institution) in one of the countries listed here, which is based on information from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

You have the right to cancel payment of a registration fee and obtain a full refund for any BNA-organised meeting within seven days of registering. To request a refund within this seven-day period, please contact the BNA Festival Secretariat at [email protected]. Please note that all refunds for BNA2027 will incur a £15 administration charge.

If you cancel after the seven-day period, a written notification must be sent by email to [email protected]. All cancellations will also incur a £15 administration fee.

Refunds for cancellations outside the seven-day window are processed as follows:

• If you cancel more than 60 days before the start of the meeting (up to 23:59 BST on Thursday 25 February 2027), you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
• If you cancel 60-30 days before the meeting (from 00:01 BST on Friday 26 February to 23:59 BST on Sunday 28 March 2027, inclusive), you will be refunded 25% of your registration fee.
• Cancellations fewer than 30 days before the meeting (from 00:01 BST on Monday 29 March 2027 onward) are non-refundable, unless the cancellation occurs within seven days of your registration.

Please note that the poster abstract handling fees are not considered part of the registration fee, and are non-refundable in all cases.

Extenuating Circumstances: If you believe extenuating circumstances apply to your cancellation, please contact the BNA Festival Secretariat to discuss. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the BNA.
