PhD opportunities in brain energy metabolism and novel analgesics

PhD projects are available in the lab of Professor Bruno Frenguelli on brain energy metabolism and potential novel analgesics. These projects revolve around the release, role and replenishment of the purines ATP and adenosine in the nervous system. Funding, on a competitive basis with other projects and supervisors, is available via the University of Warwick’s MIBTP and MRC DTP initiatives.
