Edinburgh has a very large, vibrant and dynamic neuroscience community with strong links between clinical, basic, informatics and psychological research. Edinburgh Neuroscience acts as the Local Group Representative for the British Neuroscience Association (BNA) in Edinburgh.
Most researchers in Edinburgh are located at the University of Edinburgh and it's hospitals, with a few based at Heriot Watt University, Napier University and St Margaret's University. Edinburgh Neuroscience, an umbrella organisation that brings together this diverse array of neuroscience researchers from all backgrounds, acts as the Local Group Representative for the British Neuroscience Association (BNA) in Edinburgh.
