The BNA Motor Neuron Disease Masterclass is designed to equip emerging neuroscience researchers, clinicians and professionals with cutting-edge knowledge and practical insight into MND research. This one-day online training will bring together leading academics, clinicians, and patient perspectives to explore the latest advances in the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of MND, through expert-led talks and interactive sessions.
Online talks led by expert speakers will cover the history, definitions, and diagnosis of MND, alongside discussions and guidance for incorporating patient perspectives into research.
The Masterclass will explore the latest developments in MND research, therapeutic advances, current treatments, ongoing clinical trials and regulatory frameworks. Talks on biomarkers and drug discovery will examine how advances in neuroscience are being translated into clinical progress and new therapeutic approaches.
The day will conclude with an interactive workshop, where attendees will discuss key questions and share reflections on the day.
