Celebrating more than 30 years of collaborative work, Prof. Rüdiger Köhling cordially invites colleagues, collaborators and early-career researchers to the CRC/SFB 1270 ELAINE / IRTG Symposium “Modulating Brain Networks: Mechanisms, Models & Medical Translation”, taking place on 24–25 September 2026 at Oskar Langendorff Institute for Physiology, Gertrudenstraße 9, 18057 Rostock, Germany. The symposium brings together leading experimentalists, clinicians, engineers and theoreticians to discuss how brain networks can be understood, modeled, and therapeutically modulated across scales and disease contexts. A particular focus lies on translational approaches linking fundamental mechanisms to clinical applications, including deep brain stimulation, closed-loop therapies, network biomarkers, and computational modeling.
