Delegates will be assigned to pre-determined groups, mixed by career stage and sector to maximise diversity and representation. The session will begin with an informal networking opportunity, allowing participants to connect with their group members before moving into the interactive activity.
During the interactive session, delegates will work in small groups to explore a credibility-related dilemma commonly encountered in research, such as publication pressures, reproducibility challenges, or data-sharing issues. Each group will nominate a reporter to summarise their discussion.
Sector representatives will then share insights into how these types of dilemmas are typically addressed within their respective settings. The session will conclude with a 20-minute plenary debrief, where groups report back and discuss the wider implications, led by their nominated reporter.
