This is your online hub for the Newcastle area's BNA Local Group, representing you and other BNA members based in Newcastle University, Northumbria University, the Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, other local institutions in the clinical, industry/commercial and charitable sectors, and the local public.

BNA members based in the area described above are able to join this Local Group – this is your first step to connecting with others in your local neuroscience community and building projects together to address your collective priorities.
Next comes getting actively involved. Your Local Group Representatives (LGRs) may contact you with important updates about upcoming Local Group activities, project planning meetings, and also to flag national BNA opportunities for you to take advantage of – but if you're keen to get involved then why not reach out to them first to introduce yourself and let them know what you're interested in?
