The neuroscience community is coming together in Belfast for BNA2027 – the 8th International Festival of Neuroscience.
With three days of science, discussion, networking and opportunities to connect, BNA2027 will bring together researchers, clinicians, industry, policymakers and patient representatives from across the UK and internationally.
And now, you can start exploring what’s in store.
Discover the science shaping BNA2027
The BNA2027 scientific programme is now available to explore, with sessions spanning the breadth of neuroscience.
From neural development, plasticity and evolution to neural circuits, cognition, psychiatry and psychology, neurodegeneration and ageing, and neurons, glia and cell-cell interactions, the programme reflects the diversity of neuroscience and the many ways our community is advancing understanding of the brain.
Alongside the scientific programme, BNA2027 will offer opportunities to hear from leading researchers, share your own work, build connections and discover new ideas across disciplines and career stages.
Dr Laura Ajram, Chief Executive commented:
BNA2027 will be a fantastic opportunity for the neuroscience community to come together in Belfast – to share ideas, showcase exciting research and make the connections that help move neuroscience forward.
So much more to experience
BNA2027 isn't just about what's happening in the session rooms.
The Festival will bring the community together through social and networking events, opportunities for early-career researchers and career development, and a public programme designed to take neuroscience all over the city.
There will also be opportunities to explore Belfast, connect with Festival partners and enjoy the experience of being together as a neuroscience community.
We are committed to making BNA2027 an inclusive and accessible Festival, with bursaries and carer grants available to help delegates attend, alongside support for a range of accessibility and personal needs.
The Festival is also being developed with sustainability in mind, helping us to consider the environmental impact of bringing our community together.
BNA2027 is about bringing the neuroscience community together – across disciplines, career stages and sectors. I’m looking forward to welcoming colleagues to Belfast for a Festival that celebrates our science, our community and the connections between us.
