Relive the Best of BNA2025

The BNA2025 International Festival of Neuroscience brought together over a thousand researchers, clinicians, students, and innovators for a three-day celebration of discovery, creativity, and collaboration.

Across packed plenary lectures, thought-provoking symposia, interactive workshops, and lively networking events, the Festival captured the spirit of neuroscience at its best: curious, collaborative, and full of energy.

The program featured over 200 speakers and more than 50 scientific sessions during the three days, BNA2025 showcased the breadth and depth of modern neuroscience - from molecular mechanisms to mind and behaviour, from AI and neurotechnology to clinical advances. Beyond the lecture halls, the Festival came alive with extensive public engagement across Liverpool, a games night, a brass band of neuroscientists, and an elegant gala dinner - bringing the community together in style.

We’re delighted to share the full BNA2025 Meeting Report, written by Dr Dorothy Tse (Co-Chair for the BNA2025 Programme Oranising Committee) and Bethany Facer (BNA Early Career Researcher Trustee), capturing key scientific highlights, cross-disciplinary discussions, and the essence of what made this year’s Festival so special.

  • “Honestly, it was great – loved the attention to translational research this year.”
  • “I got very interesting insights on my poster and it sparked fascinating conversations.”
